Via a new Nintendo press release, N-Sider has learned that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Wii has sold 412,000 copies since its launch in late November.
According to Nintendo, this amounts to 87% of all Wii purchasers and the highest rate of sale for a launch title since the introduction of Super Mario 64 at the Nintendo 64 launch.
Wii buyers also purchased an average of two games outside of the pack-in Wii Sports, compared to the one game per system average of Microsoft's XBOX 360 and the Sony PlayStation 3.
