In perhaps the largest update made to the site yet, Masahiro Sakurai's Smash Bros. Dojo has unveiled an all new mode for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Entitled "The Subspace Emissary," the mode is a vast reimagination of the adventure mode featured in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Touted as a complete side-scrolling action game, The Subspace Emissary pits the various denizens of the Nintendo universe against a new and bizarre threat. In addition to actually possessing a plot, characters are promised to act according to their own histories and natural motives—a clear step above their soulless performances in past Smash titles.
The story will be progressed between stages via FMV sequences, one of which you can check out on the Smash Bros. Dojo site. You can also check out more new screens in our Super Smash Bros. Brawl media gallery.
