Pokmon USA has announced that it will not be renewing the representation agreement with 4Kids Entertainment. The agreement is set to expire on December 31.
Pokmon USA will assume all aspects of Pokmon licensing starting next year. 4Kids says it will spend the next month assisting Pokmon USA with the transition. 4Kids will also continue to receive commissions over the next several years on Pokmon license agreements that will expire after December 31st, though these commissions are expected to gradually decline.
