It has been long theorized that Pikmin themselves wait inside the Wii's air vent waiting to receive delicious nourishment in the form of tasty four-leaf clovers.


This evening we have received official confirmation, albeit a bit confusingly, in the form of a comment made by Miyamoto (via his translator):

"We continue investigating all types of games—when it's time to announce such a title, I'll announce it."

"We're making Pikmin."

An exciting bit of news following a press conference that—while interesting—garnered little interest among the Internet-going crowd.

Considering Olimar's inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, I'm surprised we didn't all figure it out sooner...
