The Nintendo Revolution will be home to a wealth of fun and innovative software titles. This list will grow as more information on the console is revealed and games are announced.
Avalon (tentative

Announced November 2, 2004, Avalon is described as a "truly epic" game with a "unique and original twist" to the multi-vehicle shooting genre. The game is being built using the company's advanced "Tomcat" toolset. The company promises advanced visuals and innovative multiplayer and online modes. Climax is currently looking for a publisher.
Animal Crossing (tentative
title)

The original Animal Crossing appeared on the Nintendo 64. Although it was only released in Japan, the game was eventually remade and released worldwide for the Nintendo GameCube. The title's laid-back gameplay greatly appealed to gamers young and old. Katsuya Eguchi will likely return to direct this title, which is said to be compatible with the upcoming Nintendo DS version.
Donkey Kong (tentative
title)

Donkey Kong is Nintendo's longest series of games. It originally debuted in arcades from creator Shigeru Miyamoto and eventually spawned the Super Mario series. The series received a makeover on the Super Nintendo via developer Rare into a fast-action platformer. Again on the GameCube, the series introduced a new gameplay element including a musical game as well as a platformer that utilized Konga drums.
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles (tentative
title)

Game Designer's Studio is headed by Square director Akitoshi Kawazu, who worked on the Legend of Mana series. The GameCube original made use of the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo GameCube connectivity to promote four-player gaming. It's likely the Revolution will utilize the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to allow gamers to play with others from around the world.

Not to be confused with the August 2000 Space World technical demo for GameCube called Mario 128 (or Mario Fried Rice), Mario for Revolution will be an all-new title in the series from legendary producer, Shigeru Miyamoto. Nothing at all relating to the title has been announced but we do know it is coming (afterall, what's a Nintendo console without Mario?)
Metroid Prime 3 (tentative
title)

This will be a follow-up to the highly successful GameCube series. Its been rumored that Retro Studios will take a much more action-oriented approach to the development of this title including allowing players to fly Samus' ship. Furthermore, the title will possibly incorporate use of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to allow intense online play.
Super Smash Bros. (tentative
title)

This will be Nintendo's flagship launch title for the Nintendo Revolution. The title is said to make full use of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to allow players from around the world to interact with each other. This series originally debuted on the Nintendo 64 and its follow-up on the Nintendo GameCube is one of the best selling titles to date having sold more than 4 million copies worldwide.
The Legend of Zelda (tentative

This is considered by many to be Nintendo's most sacred series of games. There's a special connection between players and the game's hero, Link. Nintendo will be releasing a full-fledged Zelda title on the Nintendo GameCube in late 2005. As such, it's expected the next iteration in the series for Revolution won't arrive for another year or two.
