N-Sider has received word that Nintendo will be hosting a special six hour hands-on session with the media in New York on September 14. Invitations decorated with the Wii and Nintendo DS are being passed out inviting media to "celebrate games", meet Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime and experience the company's upcoming lineup of software.
Nintendo's decision to keep the Wii price and release date close to its chest at the Games Convention this week has left some fans frustrated. As recent as June, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata said an official announcement can be expected by September. If nothing else, this means the news is imminent.
