GameSpot has word that New Super Mario Bros. has passed the half-million sales mark in US markets since its release this past May 15.
The title has not yet hit European shelves; there, it's slated for release June 30. In Japan, the game has been on the shelves since May 25, and has sold over 1.2 million copies.
