Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi, published by D3 Publisher of America, is based on the Cartoon Network animated television series. The game is said to fall into a new genre its developer dubs the 'Rock 'n' Roll Brawler'. Characters in the game use their musical weapons to defeat enemies. Gameplay is displayed on the top screen while the bottom touch-screen is used for direct control of the guitar. A two-player Wi-Fi cooperative mode is also included.
