Opera Software ASA released a statement today indicating that the final version of the Wii Internet Channel, based on Opera's browser technology, will release in April. The announcement marks a slight delay over the previously-announced late March timeframe.
Opera says they're working with Nintendo to finalize the browser, working on user requests for browser features and "to enhance the overall Wii Web experience".
The Internet Channel has been previously announced to be free to download through June 2007. The beta version was made available last December.
