The 2005 Nintendo Fusion Tour begins on September 28th in Detroit, Michigan. The tour plays nearly 40 other U.S. dates and in numerous cities. Bands involved are The Starting Line, Motion City Soundtrack, Boys Night Out, Panic! At the Disco, and Fall Out Boy, which headlines the tour. The tour will conclude on November 23rd.
The Nintendo Fusion Tour, named for its fusing of video game and music entertainment, provides a look at upcoming Nintendo titles on top of the band performances. This year Nintendo will be showcasing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and the Game Boy Micro.
"We're giving both music and video game fans an incredible fusion of entertainment," said Nintendo of America's senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications, George Harrison.
This tour will mark the third year Nintendo has put together a musical tour with the help of Clear Channel Entertainment, which produces and markets the tour.
