Nintendo of America has announced today it would bring Japanese DS sales sensations Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day and Big Brain Academy stateside this spring.
Brain Age, known as Brain Training in Japan, is touted as a mental brain-training challenges. It incorporates word memorization, counting, reading, and sudoku number puzzles. Based on how often you challenge yourself (hopefully it takes into account your actual performance too), Brain Age will give you a lower, well, "brain age".
Big Brain Academy, or Brain Flex in Japan, is a collection of 15 activities testing brain powers in areas like logic, memory, math, and analysis. It supports eight-player download play.
Both titles are rated E by the ESRB. Brain Age hits store shelves April 17, and Big Brain Academy will show up May 30.
