In a hands-on (and related video interview) with the creators of Electronic Arts' upcoming Boogie, the shape of the mic peripheral the game will use is revealed: an included USB headset.
Gameplay details were unveiled as well: in its current form, Boogie is played by moving the Wii controllers around to the beat of the music. "Boogie power", unleashed by holding A and B on the Remote, is used for combos. Powerups are also randomly scattered on the stage from time to time, which you can collect by sidling your Boog over to them with the d-pad.
Boogie is expected to be released this year.
