Bandai Games said Tamagotchi: Corner Shop is in development for the Nintendo DS. The game is described as a shopping simulation set in the world of Tamagotchi where players open specialty shops, and develop their businesses by servicing customers through mini games that utilize the Nintendo DS's touch-screen functionality. The title is scheduled for release this winter.
