According to an article at IGN, Famitsu has published the top sales numbers for Japanese games in Japan, and Animal Crossing: Wild World has taken the top spot with 1,169,757 units sold in just over six weeks.

Nintendo DS titles also took several other places on the charts, interrupted only by PlayStation 2 titles. Train Your Brain took third place with 1,011,341 units, and Nintendogs (all versions) claimed fourth with 965,665 units. Brain Flex took seventh, Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop! eighth, and Mario Kart DS out for just over three weeks in that territory secured the tenth place spot.
