Also a Wii message board where users can send messages and photos to other Wii owners; or to PC owners or cell phone. You can also leave messages on a calendar-based note system."

9:54: IGN says, "Shows off a movie-playack mode. You can apparently transfer home-brew movies to your Wii, view them and modify them in real-time."

9:53: IGN says, "Bill Trinen takes stage to talk about Wii channels. Says that these channels will make non-gamers want to pick up the Wii. Trinen goes into the Mii channel, which enables users to create virtual versions of themselves. He says he wants to create Samuel L. Jackson. Modifies hair and face on a 3D model. Changes eyes. 9:53: Bill Trinen says after clickon the Photo Channel... "For the first time ever, photo viewing is not a time-consuming thing." Take SD Card out of your digital camera, insert into the front flap on Wii and "boom -- you're looking at digital photos." The interface is smooth, fast and easy.

9:46: AdvancedMN says, "The points can be obtained online or at retail, with 2000 points being $20. When a game is downloaded, it becomes its own channel on the Virtual Console menu."

9:45: AdvancedMN says, "It will be 500 points for NES titles, 800 for SNES, and 1000 for N64 Virtual Console downloads (1 point is near equivalent to one $U.S. cent)."

9:30: AdvancedMN says, "The Wii will go on sale November 19th. The worldwide debut happens in North America - the same place they debuted the DS. With over 25,000 points of distribution, the price will be $249.99, with one price, one configuration, and one color."
